Dear XXXXXXXX,

I write you this letter with the hope that you will not be like the Owners, Management and Editors of the Philippine Daily Inquirer who are either Blind to the LIES of Ramon Tulfo or are Hypocrites and Illiterate. (attached is copy of my letter to Inquirer dated May 11, 2006).

I write to you to point out the LIES which were propagated to the Filipino People by Erwin Tulfo through his June 19, 2006 PEOPLE’S Tonight column entitled “Open letter kay Pangulong Arroyo.”

At the outset let me assert here that in that column Erwin Tulfo LIED not only to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (and about acts of the First Gentleman) but also to ALL the READERS of PEOPLE’S Tonight in order that he and his brother Ramon Tulfo would BE ADMIRED by the Filipino People for displaying bravery despite being “oppressed” by those in power like First Gentleman Miguel Arroyo.

I write this not as an apologist or defender of the First Couple but to point out that your columnist, ERWIN TULFO, IS A FIRST CLASS LIAR, like his brothers Ramon and Raffy who are newspaper columnists, radio broadcasters and TV hosts.

ERWIN TULFO LIE NUMBER ONE: That FIRST GENTLEMAN MIKE ARROYO REMOVED the security escorts provided by the Armed Forces of the Philippines to civilian Ramon Tulfo because Ramon Tulfo exposed (during the early months of 2006) the alleged smuggling activities of a certain Vicky Toh.

THE TRUTH IS that the security escorts provided by the AFP to Ramon Tulfo WERE REMOVED OVER A YEAR AGO, or at least before June 25, 2005. Ramon Tulfo, in his June 25, 2005 Philippine Daily Inquirer column, vilified former AFP Chief of Staff General Efren Abu by propagating the LIE that General Abu was sacked as AFP Chief of Staff for arrogance. He propagated the LIE that General Abu REJECTED PRESIDENT ARROYO’S REQUEST that Ramon Tulfo’s soldier-bodyguards be not removed from him, that is, that AFP should continue its practice of providing soldier-security guards (at Philippine Government’s expenses) to Ramon Tulfo. In this column, Ramon Tulfo related TWO LIES: that the President made a request to General Abu that Ramon Tulfo should continue to be provided Armed Forces of the Philippines bodyguards, and that General Abu was sacked because HE REJECTED THE PRESIDENT’S REQUEST for Ramon Tulfo.

Explaining the removal of the bodyguards assigned to Ramon Tulfo, then Lt. Col. Buenaventura C. Pascual who was then the Chief of the AFP’s Public Information Office said, in July 2005, that “the recall of military bodyguards assigned to a “private individual” (Ramon Tulfo) was done in accordance with the many reform policies being implemented by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), specifically Department of National Defense Circular No. 2 dated March 12, 2003.” (Attached are clippings re Ramon Tulfo vilifying AFP Chief of Staff General Efren Abu, and Lt. Col. Buenaventura’s reply to the vilification).

In a very recent conversation with General ARTURO C. LOMIBAO, the General told me that Ramon Tulfo’s military escorts were “REMOVED LONG TIME AGO,” even prior to my letter to him dated June 25, 2005 (Please see attached copy of my letters to Executive Secretary EDUARDO C. ERMITA, Defense Secretary ATTY AVELINO J. CRUZ, General EFREN L. ABU and General ARTURO C. LOMIBAO all written in June 2005, urging them to WITHDRAW the GUN PERMITS and ARMED BODY GUARDS of the TULFO Brothers for various ABUSES INVOLVING GUNS and ARMED BODYGUARDS).

ERWIN TULFO LIE NUMBER TWO: That the TV Show Isumbong Mo sa Tulfo Brothers (hosted by Tulfo Brothers Ramon, Raffy and Erwin) almost was not shown on RPN Channel 9 because FIRST GENTLEMAN MIKE ARROYO ORDERED THE RPN 9 EXECUTIVES not to air the show. This LIE was ALSO propagated by Ramon Tulfo in his May 23, 2006 Philippine Daily Inquirer column where he wrote that the First Gentleman told RPN 9 Chairman Cerge Remonde that “if you do not follow my instructions,---not to air “Isumbong Mo sa Tulfo Brothers”--- you had better look for another job.”

THE TRUTH IS, as told by RPN 9 President and CEO Ms. Mia A. Concio and RPN 9 Chairman Cerge Remonde, is “that the decision to air :Isumbong Mo!” was based on its conformity to the network’s programming thrust and marketing strategy. At no point did the ExCom waver in its decision, and neither was there any attempt from any quarter to block the airing of the program.”(Attached are appropriate Inquirer clippings on the matter).


By this LIE NUMBER TWO, Erwin REPEATS the LIE for PEOPLE’S Tonight readers what Ramon Tulfo INVENTED and propagated for Philippine Daily Inquirer readers. BOTH RAMON and ERWIN TULFO PROPAGATE LIES about the FIRST GENTLEMAN!!!

I am sending you a copy of my book “The PRESIDENT and Her MEN KISS the ASS of RAMON TULFO.” The fact that Erwin Tulfo and Ramon Tulfo can write LIES to and about the First Couple without any fear of being repudiated by the First Couple validates the title of the book which was previously titled “Liars, Intimidators and Extortionists in Philippine Media. Chapter 3 of the book entitled “TULFOS Gang Up on BILLIONAIRE” relates how Tulfo Brothers Ramon and Raffy vilified and intimidated a Makati businessman by writing in their Philippine Daily Inquirer and Abante TONITE columns some 30 LIES about the businessman. The inclusion (in this letter) of the book’s Chapter 3 validates the title of this letter, i.e., “Super, Super, Super LIARS TULFO Brothers Ramon, Raffy and Erwin.”

(Erwin Tulfo also used his radio program to spread lies. On page 23 of the book, in a radio program he co-hosted with Doris Bigornia, he reported to then Customs Commissioner George Jereos that I assisted smugglers and that I owned two big houses and several expensive cars including a Pajero and a Ford Expedition. I wrote in the book that he and Doris Bigornia could do a jack en poy to determine who of the two of them should get the better of the houses and SUVs once they have located these houses and SUVs).

Mr. Editor-in-Chief Villanueva, if you do not want to be branded as an IMPOTENT Editor-in-Chief (like those of Inquirer and Abante TONITE), that is, if your love for your Filipino Readers is greater than your Fear of the Tulfo Brothers (please read Chapter 4 of the book entitled “Filipino JOURNALISTS FEAR the TULFOS”) you should fire Erwin Tulfo for telling lies to the President (and about the First Gentleman) and for propagating these lies to the Filipino People through PEOPLE’S Tonight.

FIRE ERWIN TULFO FROM YOUR PAPER!!! DO NOT DISAPPOINT YOUR FILIPINO READERS just because you are afraid, like the rest of the leadership of the National Press Club, and 99.9999999% of all Filipinos (including so-called brave columnists) I talked with, of the Tulfo Brothers.

Editor-in-Chief Mr. Villanueva, be braver (that is, do not Fear the Tulfo Brothers) than the Owners, Management and Editors of Inquirer and Abante TONITE by firing Erwin Tulfo for Lying to the hundreds of thousands of PEOPLE’S Tonight readers!!!

Prove to your Filipino Readers that your RESOLVE to FULFILL YOUR DUTY to Tell The FILIPINO READERS the TRUTH is greater than your FEAR of the Super, Super, Super LIARS Tulfo Brothers!!!
