The most Corrupt Philippine Media, led by the PRIETO-owned Philippine Daily Inquirer, MACASAET-owned Abante TONITE,Ie and those of the Philippine Journalists, Inc. and now joined by BULGAR (which readily and immediately embraced RAFFY TULFO upon being fired from the Abante papers of the MACASAETS) and the radio and TV stations which cater to the Tulfo Brothers, should stop printing and broadcasting stories derogatory to the Police and Military Establishments.
Immediately relieved from their posts, a newspaper reports today, are a top police officer and seven of his subordinates for “allegedly extorting money from a Japanese businessman suspected of involvement in the drug industry.”
This swift action of the Police Establishment shows that the Police Establishment is MORE HONORABLE than the Self-appointed Guardians of Morality like the PRIETOS of the Inquirer, the MACASAETS of the Abante papers and the Philippine Journalists, Inc. (and recently BULGAR) and the owners of radio and TV stations coddling the Tulfo Brothers.
About ten daily newspapers (broadsheets and tabloids) carried the story (a few of them even Headlined the story) that The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) itself filed ROBBERY-EXTORION CASES against RAMON, RAFFY and ERWIN TULFO.
The papers carried the story that JIMMY SALGADO, the agent of the Tulfo Brothers at the Customs Premises in Manila, extorted (on a regular basis) from several Customs Officials so that these Customs officials would not be subjected to derogatory stories in the columns of Ramon Tulfo, Raffy Tulfo and Erwin Tulfo, and in their radio and TV programs.
One columnist even estimated that during the four-year period from 2002 to 2006 during which time Jimmy Salgado was extorting in behalf of the Tulfo Brothers, some P30,000,000.00 may have been collected from these NINE CUSTOMS OFFICIALS ALONE..
One columnist, based at the Customs beat said that the list submitted by Jimmy Salgado to the NBI does not include Higher Customs Officials like Deputy Customs Commissioners and Customs Commissioners like GEORGE JEREOS and RAY ALLAS (who now is an assistant of a Top Adviser of the President). He STRONGLY IMPLIED that the LIST SUBMITTED by SALGADO SHOULD INCLUDE MANY TOP CUSTOMS OFFICIALS, and that the AMOUNT of MONEY he REPORTED AS EXTORTED is on the LOW SIDE.
Smaller thieves were immediately presented to the media clothed in IDENTICAL SHIRTS THEIR CRIME EMBLAZONED IN BIG LETTERS on the FRONT FACE of the SHIRT. These SUSPECTED CRIMINALS are PRESENTED TO THE PUBLIC as CRIMINALS!!!! THRU TV and Radio and Photographers of Print Media.
In BIG CONTRAST,. The NEWSPAPERS, RADIO and TV STATIONS still allow the TULFO BROTHERS to SPREAD THEIR LIES TO POISON THE MINDS OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF FILIPINO PEOPLE!!!!
This makes the PHILIPPINE MEDIA ESTABLISHMENT MOST CORRUPT because they are ACTIVE COOPERATORS in the LIES, INTIMIDATIONS and EXTORTION ACTIVITIES of the TULFO BROTHERS who present themselves to the FILIPINO PEOPLE as CRIME FIGHTERS and DO GOODERS (if such a word exists!!!). These media establishments have no MORAL authority to call others corrupt!!!
If Inquirer Founder EUGENIA DURAN-APOSTOL has no MORAL AUTHORITY TO FIRE RAMON TULFO FROM INQUIRER, SHE SHOULD HAVE THE DELICADEZA TO RETURN TO THE RAMON MAGSAYSAY FOUNDATION the JOURNALISM AWARD SHE RECEIVED from the FOUNDATION because THE PAPER SHE FOUNDED HARBORS A HABITUAL, INVETERATE, RECIDIVIST LIAR, INTIMIDATOR, ROBBER and EXTORIONIST in the person of RAMON TULFO!!!!
