TULFO Brothers EXTORT P610,000.00 Monthly at CUSTOMS!!!

WHAT NBI Officially KNOWS about the MASSIVE EXTORTION (at the Bureau of Customs) of the TULFO Brothers:P610,000.00 Monthly Extortion

The following are the HIGHLIGHTS of the Contents of the Sworn Statement executed by JIMMY SALGADO on August 18, 2006 at the Special Task Force Office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Taft Avenue , Manila . The Sworn Statement was executed in the presence of NBI Special Agent Dickson Maraneg and Salgado’s Counsel, Atty. Christopher Orly P. Garcia. The Statement was signed by Salgado, his counsel Atty Garcia and NBI Regional Director Reynaldo O. Esmeralda.

***That the TULFO Brothers RAMON, RAFFY and ERWIN are EXTORTIONISTS.

***That the TULFO Brothers use their Media Powers (as Newspaper Columnists, Radio and TV Broadcasters) to threaten the people from whom they extort huge amounts of money, that they would attack them in their columns and radio and TV programs if they do not come across.

***JIMMY SALGADO, in the presence of his counsel, Atty. CHRISTOPHER ORLY GARCIA, “confessed” to the NBI the following:

QUESTION NUMBER 15: Ano naman ang dahilang at kinokolektahan mo ng pera ang mga binanggit mong opisyales ng Customs? (And what is the reason why you are collecting money from the Customs officials you mentioned?).

(RAMON TULFO told me, Sir, that he would attack these people (referring to specified Customs officials) in his radio station DWIZ “Report it to TULFO” and in his TV Station “Report it to TULFO” at Channel 9 along with his column at the Philippine Daily Inquirer if they do not give (me) the bribes.

(And how much are you collecting from the named Customs officials?).

(My monthly collection, Sir, from said officials are Php50,000.00 each from JAKE PAGUNTALAN, TEDDY SAGARAL, MAITA ACEBEDO and ADELINA MOLINA, Php80,000.00, Sir, from HORACIO SUANSING, RONIE SILVESTRE and JOHN TAN, Php70,000.00, Sir, from LILIAN VESES and Php100,000.00 from BOYSIE BELMONTE.).

ANSWER: “Opo.” (Yes, Sir).

(And to whom do you give the money you are collecting from the Customs officials?).

ANSWER: “Binibigay ko po mismo kay RAMON TULFO sa kanyang opisina sa City Estate, DWIZ Station, Pasig City .” (I give, Sir, to RAMON TULFO himself at his office at City Estate, DWIZ Station, Pasig City ).

Three other questions follow but Question Numbers 15 to 19 are most revealing.

NOTES about JIMMY SALGADO, as related in my book “The PRESIDENT and Her MEN KISS the ASS of RAMON TULFO”

SALGADO is mentioned more than 30 times in my book.

He is the agent and runner at Customs of the TULFO Brothers and REY LANGIT (who was CAUGHT ENGAGED in SMUGGLING).

Even CUSTOMS COMMISSIONERS FEAR HIM!!!

In 1998, he fronted for RAMON TULFO in a P500,000.00 EXTORTION ATTEMPT on the Brothers of Customs Commissioner Guillermo L. Parayno, Jr. The extortion attempt was made on the week Tulfo used his Philippine Daily Inquirer column to print many lies (over ten invented lies) about the Commissioner and his brothers. .

He bragged that during his first two years as Publisher of TRADE WINDS (a weekly paper circulated mostly at Customs ports in Manila and in which both RAMON and RAFFY TULFO are columnists) he spent P530,000.00 a month to put out the weekly paper.
