U. P. Library BUYS Three Copies of TULFO the LIAR son of SATAN Book!!!

Before I went to the UP Campus to deliver the letter below, I checked with the U.P. Library whether or not they received the copies (I donated, through the U.P. Press Bookstore) of “The PRESIDENT and Her MEN KISS the ASS of RAMON TULFO.” The librarian told me they have copies of my first book “Liars, Intimidators and Extortionists in Philippine Media” and would like more copies to which I replied I would give them more copies. The librarian told me that they have not yet received the copies of my new book I donated to them but that they have already purchased THREE COPIES of the book from a store (OUTSIDE the U. P. DILIMAN campus!!).

After delivering the letter below, I went to the U.P. Press Bookstore to check the 20 copies of books I left there a year ago but which they refused to sell. The two books intended for the U.P. Main Library were also there. I told the one manning the book store to have the two copies delivered to the U.P. Main Library.

If the U.P. librarian thinks my book is good enough for U.P. students to read, it must be also be good enough for the U.P. Press Bookstore to sell.

It is as simple as that.

THE WORLD IS VERY SIMPLE. I learned from my long years of philosophical and theological studies and readings and meditation that GOD IS SIMPLICITY itself. That is why I cannot understand why the Impeachment Case was thrown out by majority of the Congressmen (who I presume were schooled in the better colleges and universities) it is deficient in substance and form.

These Congressmen are worse than Pontius Pilate who asked Jesus Christ “WHAT IS TRUTH?” Pilate’s NON-RECOGNITION of Jesus Christ TRUTH HIMSELF facing him was EXCUSABLE.

The Congressman led by Lagman et al. and WILLINGLY MANIPULATED by the Palace KNOWINGLY CHOSE to be BLIND!!! To repeat, THEY ARE WORSE than PONTIUS PILATE!!!

Truly, as stated on page viii (Preface) of my book

“What more picturesque sight to demonstrate this power of Satan over Philippine Society than the spectacle of the President and Her Men Kissing the Ass of Ramon Tulfo, the Super, Super Liar son of Satan?”

Dr. ELENA BERNIA
Dean, College of Mass Communication
UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES
Diliman, Quezon City

Dear Dr. BERNIA,:

I write to you for Two Reasons:

FIRST, to appeal, through you, to reconsider the decision of the University to ban the sale, at your Diliman Campus, of my book “The PRESIDENT and Her MEN KISS the ASS of RAMON TULFO.”

For your guidance, attached is copy of letter, dated July 30, 2005 (or over a year ago), sent to University President Ms. EMERLINDA R. ROMAN, appealing the decision (aside from requesting the book to be reviewed by the College of Mass Communication Faculty to determine the propriety of banning the book) to ban the sale of the book, an appeal for which no formal denial has been received by the undersigned up to today.

SECOND, to dare to recommend to you, despite the ban, that the book be made a reference material for students of the U. P. College of Mass Communications. The book may be made one of the required readings on the subject on journalism ethics in general, or the adverse effects on national development of a lying mass media of communication establishments and organizations.

At the outset, let me inform you that like the University, many stores refused to sell my book. One of Makati City ’s biggest book stores, FULLY BOOKED, experienced brisk sales of the original version of the book entitled “Liars, Intimidators and Extortionists in Philippine Media. When the book store was threatened with lawsuits by the Tulfo Brothers if it persists in selling my book despite the warning, it discontinued the sale of the book It was a purely commercial decision: forego the small profit from the book’s sale rather than be involved in an expensive lawsuit. One book store specializing in rare titles sought me out and got 25 copies of “The PRESIDENT etc…RAMON TULFO”. Two days afterwards, the husband returned all 25 copies.

People who buy the book want to have the book wrapped as they are scared to be seen holding the book. A Filipino author of several books and now permanently residing in the USA, said that (because book printers were scared to print the book and bookstores are afraid to sell the book and book buyers fear to be seen holding the book) the book is the “contemporary” equivalent of Rizal’s NOLI-FILI except that Rizal’s Father Damasos and Ruling Powerful Friars have NOW been replaced by the abusive media professionals like the Tulfos and Rey Langits, and the Powerholders at Malacanang.

A U. P. professor with a Ph. D degree told me that one reason why U.P does not want the book sold in its official book store is because it is not “scholarly.”

The book may not look scholarly because it does not bristle with “ibids” “op. cits.” “infras” “supras” “q.vs.” and the like footnotes characteristics of scholarly works.

It is, however, a book on “philosophical and theological ethics and morals”, as stated in the first sentence of the “Foreword.” It provides arguments to the book’s answer to the centuries-old debates among theologians on the question on which sin may the greater be, that one of the body or the mind, when it asserts several times that

“continuously implanting poisons into the minds of the hundreds of thousands of addicted readers, by Ramon Tulfo with his lies propagated in Philippine Daily Inquirer and by Raffy Tulfo in Abante TONITE and Abante, is an evil seventy-seven times seven more abominable than Leo Echegaray forcing his penis and emitting his semen into the unwilling vagina of a minor relative for which the State put him to death.”

If a book, to be “scholarly.” should Put Forward its OWN ANSWER to centuries old theological and philosophical debates like the question on which sin is greater, that of the body or the mind, then my book is “scholarly.”

The author also had to resort to philosophical truisms (expressed in their original Latin) such as the almost tautological, therefore rigidly self-evidently true (I bet you, Dear Dean that the U.P. Professor with a Ph D who said the book is not scholarly does not understand what I mean by “almost tautological, therefore rigidly self-evidently true” even if he/she consults the dictionary for the meaning of ‘tautological’) Latin philosophical guidelines “ab esse ad posse valet illatio,” (from ‘to be’ to ‘can be’ inference is valid), “nihil factum nisi priusquam conceptum” (nothing is done except it be first conceived by the mind), “contra factum non valet argumentum”“ (one cannot argue against a fact) to justify the title of the book. If daring to put forward an answer to centuries old debates and resorting to centuries old philosophical truism (and in its original Latin at that!) in the rationalization of important assertions of the book are marks of being “scholarly” then my book should be worthy of being sold inside the University of the Philippines Diliman campus!!!.

But my appeal to you that it be considered a reference material for mass communication students is based on the fact that the book discusses TOPICS RELEVANT and VERY IMPORTANT and TIMELY to CONTEMPORARY MEDIA PRACTICES (and ABUSES), not only in the Philippines but also in the First World Economies. .

The book argues that “Great Nations and Advanced Civilizations’ like the U.S.A and the United Kingdom ’ ABHOR LYING not only in mass media but also in the behavior of their highest leaders. Examples cited by the book are the “firing” of the TWO TOP OFFICERS of The New York Times and the British Broadcasting Corporation over questionable reports of their reporters and correspondents. The “lies” and “plagiarism” in the NYT and BBC were committed by “subordinates” or people “low in the organization” yet the TOP PEOPLE were the ones “FIRED.”
IN CONTRAST, Ramon Tulfo, despite many lies pointed out to the editors, publishers and owners of the paper, WAS REWARDED by being the only Inquirer columnist given a column space at its sister publication, Bandera.

A very good example of how Top People in “Great Nations and Advanced Civilizations” ARE PUNISHED for “LYING” is that of the LOSS of the PRESIDENCY by President Nixon and the long prison terms meted to his men for “lying” about the “Watergate Burglary” and the RETENTION of the PRESIDENCY by President Clinton because despite being highly suspected by the American public that he was “fellated,” he proved, before the grand jury trying him, the truth of his public avowal that ‘I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky.”

The book is more than an enumeration of the lies, intimidations and extortions of the Tulfo Brothers and other top media professionals, and the use of media to print lies about top politicians (like the Invented Lies of Ramon Tulfo against Presidential Candidates RAUL ROCO, FERNANDO POE, JR. and PANFILO LACSON). It warns that the Philippines will remain a Third World Country forever if it does not abhor lying as the Great Nations and Advanced Civilizations do.

I am sending copy of this letter to the University of the Philippines President and Dr. MARIA LUISA CAMAGAY, Director, U. P. Press, and for their consideration of the two requests in this letter.

Thank you.

Very truly yours,

Ning Santos
